As an illustration, after a whole week of stress at work, jumping into your garden and enjoying the soothing sounds of your chimes tinkling in the breeze will help you build your inner spirit once more.

People in the North, Northwest, and West countries mostly like metal wind chimes; while those who live in South, Southeast, and East countries generally enjoy wooden wind chimes. Bamboo is the most common material used to make wooden wind chimes.

Bamboo wind chimes are created in various sizes and colors. The various sizes of the bamboo reeds will create different sounds. When bamboo is crafted into thin wood wind chimes, you can get calm tinkling sound.

On the opposite, when bamboo is crafted into thick wood wind chimes, heavy wooden sound will be heard. However, the healing effect of the two types of the wind chimes is just the same. You can stick to buying tuned bamboo wind chimes ; nevertheless there are others who prefer to hear the natural sound created by the different sizes of the bamboo.

As for maintenance, in order to avoid your bamboo wind chimes to get damaged or broken, try to keep them protected from strong wind blows. Otherwise, the bamboo reeds will collide and damaged. Also, inspect the string that hangs the bamboo. If it wears out, immediately replace it with a new and stronger one.
